Race Descriptions

The Swamp Rabbit Marathon (formerly the Carolina Marathon) is a figure eight course using the spectator friendly HM route for the first half of the race and the flat and fast Swamp Rabbit Trail for the second half of the race. In fact, the last 6 miles are all downhill except for the railroad bridge and short climb to the finish. Click on the logo at left to learn more.

NEW RACE! For those of you who want go from a half marathon to the next level, we bring you the BIG 20 MILER. The Big 20 offers everything the Swamp Rabbit Marathon offers, minus the last 6.2 miles. Click on the logo at left for more information.

The Run Town USA Half Marathon is a winding course through downtown, historic spectator-filled neighborhoods and city parks. There are plenty of hills and turns along the route, but also plenty of Spinx Run Fest Fans to cheer you on. Click on the logo at left to learn more.

The Downtown 10K got its name from the original course that looped around the downtown district. This year’s course is similar to the half marathon, and uses more neighborhood streets to take advantage of our terrific Spinx Run Fest Fan base. Click on the logo at left to learn more.

The redesigned Big Punkin 5K takes runners over the new pedestrian bridge at the Cancer Survivor’s Park and toward Cleveland Park. After turning around at the Rudolph Anderson Memorial, runners return to Fluor Field on the same route as the HM and 10K. Click on the logo at left to learn more.

The Carolina Marathon is now the Swamp Rabbit Marathon, a point to point race from Travelers Rest to Greenville! The new course is the flattest and fastest to date with a net downhill over the entire route. We also have a marathon relay. Click on the logo at left to learn more.
